A Chinese restaurant came up with the idea of using robots for cooking and serving their customers.
However, there are two café already in the world who rely on robots.
This new restaurant, located in Kunshan, eastern China, is using the robots to greet the customers, cook some basic meals and even for serving them.
In a talk with local media, the owner of this ‘technical’ restaurant, Song Jugang, said that the robots cost around $6600 – the same as the yearly pay for a human employee.
Mr. Jugang added that he is still depended on humans for cooking some complex dishes for their customer, which robots can’t cook well.
The ‘machine worker’ works for five hours continuously after a two hours of full charge.
