Council asked couple to remove shrubs from their home

A couple from Great Cransley village, got a letter from Northamptonshire County Council which says to remove the flower beds outside their home. Couple were surprised by this kind of instruction.

Council officials said that this shrubs were there since 10 years and it covered the whole pedestrians, nearby their home, which made very much difficult to find the footpath.

Against this notice, the couple Mary and William Geidt said that this notice doesn’t make any sense because there is a perfect footway opposite side of the road.

A spokesman from council said that this decision wasn’t so easy, they didn’t have any other option before asking for this.
