If Miller continues to sign with the Nuggets, he will again have the same role, providing veteran leadership and experience to a squad filled with young talent.

So… yep, they’d want to consider Mike Miller.

The Portland Trail Blazers recently bought out the contract of veteran Mike Miller, and it was reported then that the Denver Nuggets were the front-runner for Miller’s services.

Miller played in 52 games with Cleveland last season, signing with the team after LeBron James returned.

Drafted fifth overall by the Magic in 2000, he has averaged 11.3 points a game over his career. The Nuggets also have a considerable amount of wing depth with Gary Harris, Randy Foye, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler and Will Barton.

Miller is also a former victor of the Sixth Man of the Year award, having won it back in the 2005-2006 season.

“We’re always seeking to increase our roster”, Connelly said in the event that inquired in case the group could turn to put “a speculated veteran”. He a great 3-point rifle, bumping 41 percentage from behind your rainbow.

They play their first preseason game Friday in Los Angeles against the Clippers.
