Opera, the name symbolizes the independent Scandinavian company that’s been in the business of making web browsers since 1994. The primary focus is to design the web browsers for the computers, TVs, Tablets, Games and other devices. Opera web browsers are available from the big to the small cities and villages and are providing internet access to the people even in the remote areas. The vision lies in developing the free cost user friendly services for the users.

Opera for now has developed a mini web browser for the mobile phones, which is working for the smart phones, tablets, handsets and few more small sized devices. There are seven mobile companies with which contract are signed and deal is finalized in order to develop the web browser for the small devices. Another exclusive third party that is working for the development of the mini web browsers is  the Norwegian software developer’s mobile web browser which is pre-installed on all Android devices by Celkon, Karbonn, Lava and Intex. Now, the Opera mini will be pre-installed on select Android devices by Fly, Zen and HCL ME tablets.

Per the vice president of Opera (South Asia), it is mainly designed for the Indian mobile devices due to its data compression ability. With the help of the data compression ability, the web pages are first rendered to compress before displaying them on the mobile devices, reducing the data transfer to the 10% of the original data, helping the easy display on the mobile phones and other devices. The other  features in opera mini web browser are Smart Page, Speed Dial, tabbed browsing, password manager, download manager and Opera Link and all this can be downloaded for free.  Also, per the statistics India is the fasted growing country in the use of net on the mobile phones.

Opera is used worldwide; however the stats generated shows that the Opera’s ‘State of the Android Mobile Web’ report claims that India has the largest number of Opera Mini users in the world. This means that most of the devices in India compare to the others countries are using the Opera web browser more often in the mobile phones, due to the user friendly and ease to use generated by the Opera mini browser developers.

Also, another statistics shows the besides, the number of Indians using mobile devices to get online is on the rise on account of availability of affordable smartphones. This means the ratio of people being online on phone is more than the number of people having smart mobile phones.

Opera is mainly striving for the quality and user friendly products with the free or lower cost, with reasonable prices. Opera’s headquarter is in Oslo (Norway) and has offices in 13 other locations around the world, along with operations in four subsidiary companies. Opera is working with the best efforts in order to develop and deliver the best products with user satisfaction.  Not only this, users also wait for the product with the opera web browsers due to the ease to use with the Indian mobile phones.
