Unlike the original 2013 offering, this bundle includes the new Xbox One controller as well as three Kinect centric games, ‘Dance Central Spotlight, ‘ ‘Kinect Sports Rivals, ‘ and ‘Zoo Tycoon, ‘ which are included as downloads.
“With limited edition designs inspired by this year’s biggest titles, and ways to play full-body games where you are the controller, there are more ways than ever to customize your Xbox One experience and make it your own”, says the announcement.
Will holiday buyers bite at Microsoft’s new Xbox One bundles?
The two new bundles are fourth and fifth in number that Microsoft announced this week, whilst the tech giant is expected to announce sixth bundle on Friday (tomorrow). White Xbox One consoles are quite rare, and make this edition pretty special. For the upcoming holiday season, Microsoft is betting that the bundle approach will convince more consumers to buy its console. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is also your ticket to early access of the Gears of War 4 Beta in Spring 2016. You can pick this bundle up for $349.99 this November exclusively at Wal Mart. It will be available “starting in October” for $499 – no word yet on a specific date.
The Xbox One holiday bundle is already available in stores, and players are advised to contact their local game shop, or check online for availability. Best Buy’s Web page simply shows a “Coming Soon” button, while Target’s page says the item is no longer available.
