WVU medical director disagrees with new American Cancer Society guidelines on

The American Cancer Society has released new guidelines for breast cancer screening. This age group has the largest amount of years lost if diagnosed with breast cancer. Numerous symptoms are the same – a lump, bloody nipple discharge, skin changes, etc.


– Mammograms: Scans every other year starting at age 50, until age 74.
