The news coming out of Netflix might not be good one for the company and the fans of their television show, house of cards. This is because they have decided to stop the production of the show that has got lot of attention.

House of cards had to be stop due to claim on Kevin Spacey, one of their actors being accused of sexually assaulting a child. The political thriller has been one of Netflix’s biggest hits. The star who was the king of virtual casinos in the movie Casino Jack has had a lot of negative press in recent wees.
The announcement was made on Monday by Netflix about their decision not to start another series. This is after actor Anthony Rapp claimed Spacey assaulted him when he was 14.
This has brought lot of concern and trouble for the production crew of the show. After several discussions with the cast and crew at their production site in Baltimore, they decided to stop production.
A statement said: “Media Rights Capital and Netflix have decided to suspend production on House Of Cards season six, until further notice, to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew.”
This decision will affect the date in which the next series will be aired. It is not yet known if they might change their decision and continue filming maybe early next year, but as things stand right now, it’s unlikely.
58 year old Spacey is facing one of the toughest moments in his career after the International TV Academy scrapped plan to honour in an Emmy Founders Award in this month.
The whole scenario happened in 1986 when Spacey invited Rapp to his apartment for a party. This is according to Rapp narration to BuzzFeed. He said Spacey picked him up at the middle of the night and was “trying to seduce me” and he was “aware that he was trying to get with me sexually”.
In a statement, Spacey said he was “beyond horrified to hear (Rapp’s) story”, adding: “I honestly do not remember this encounter.” He apologized “for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior” and said that he had used the allegation “to address other things about my life”.

Spacey added: “I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man. I want to deal with this honestly and openly and that starts with examining my own behavior.”
