Google’s Nexus didn’t just pull an Apple with USB-C

Both the devices feature fingerprint sensors and fast charging (with USB Type-C port). However, changing the port in which we charge our phone is actually a big deal.

What does this mean for you?

Not to mention plug it into your laptop for anything at all.

“THE NEXUS 6P is the first truly premium Android device from Google“.

The lack of a standard USB cable doesnt affectshoppers whoopted for the larger and more expensive Huawei Nexus 6P, because Google and Huawei included in the box a standard USB cable in addition to one that supports USB Type-C.

Just a heads-up to those buying a Nexus 5X, but you should be aware that your phone doesn’t come with a cable that will allow you to plug your phone into a computer or your old charging adapters. Now what this means is that you can not plug this into your normal wall outlets that you probably have all over the house, your office and your auto.

The LG Nexus 5X, on the other hand, comes with a 64-bit Snapdragon 808 processor with a 2 GB RAM unit. While this situation is summoning a few off-the-cuff comparisons to Apple’s tendency to release smartphones and tablets with their own proprietary plugs, you really aught to know: Google didn’t just thunder-strike you with a Lightning cord type situation. Or doing something as simple as flashing a factory image. USB Type-C is the future, so it’s best to grab these adapters before their prices go up. Amazon has a bunch here for under $10 (Examples: 3.3ft version, 6.6ft version).
