Iwan Thomas and his professional partner Ola Jordan have become the first couple to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing.
“You’ve all been so nice and I’m going to miss you all”.
But he said he “cherished” his time on the competition and will be tuning in every week to see how his fellow celebrities are faring.
Peter also admitted his worry over leaving it too long to try for anther baby, adding: “Emily also knows I’m 42 years old and even though I’m happy to keep having children, I don’t want to be 50 and changing nappies”.
During the show, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora were given the categories they will be mentoring this series (overs, groups, boys and girls respectively) and judge Ora selected her final six for the judges’ houses stage of the competition. These overall marks were amalgamated with the viewers’ votes to decide the two lowest scoring couples to face the dance-off.
Mark and Karen were forced to restart their performance after their over-enthusiastic salsa moves somehow resulted in Mark’s microphone becoming tangled in Karen’s dress. “Ola told me how sad he was”.
“I want him to know that I’m trying my best”. Len told the sprinter he “lost his finesse” throughout the performance, while Bruno said he appreciated the effort.
