Lavish lifestyle an illusion: 50 Cent’s expenses total GHC 421200 a month

The “Candy Shop” rapper’s bankruptcy filings show he has expenses of $108 000 a month, of which $1 000 is spent on his appearance, $3 000 on his wardrobe, $9 000 on security and $5 000 on gardening.

However, this new filing states he owns seven cars, including three Chevy Suburbans and a Rolls Royce.

Rapper and money-loser, 50 Cent, has revealed how much his monthly outgoing is during his bankruptcy trial in Connecticut. It’s listed in papers filed Monday in a Connecticut court at almost $8.3 million.

Instagram Despite a monthly income of $184,969, most of which comes from royalties and interest on investments, 50 Cent is saying that legal fees and lawsuit losses have cost him $25 million.

That total, which is more than what many Americans make in a year, includes $5,000 for gardening and $72,000 for a mansion in Hartford.

His barber, Gelpy Joel Peralta of the Queensbridge South housing projects, and fitness trainer, Joel Cardiello of Brooklyn, are owed unspecified amounts, according to court filings.

In court, the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ rapper, who is ranked by Forbes as one of hip-hop’s five richest artists, downplayed his wealth – saying he rents, borrows or leases expensive items such as jewellery and cars. He is due back in bankruptcy court Wednesday (August 4). If you would like to discuss another topic, look for a relevant article.
