“Love you all”. The British band is not breaking up, as confirmed by band member Niall Horan.
Aside from Horan, Louis Tomlinson also wrote a message on Twitter shortly after his band mate’s post.
We’re not going anywhere!! The songwriter mentioned that the band is taking “a much deserved break” given the group’s activities and concert performances.
“After five years together they’re hungry to try something else”, Wootton told Sky News. The break will reportedly allow the four musicians to focus on their own individual projects. “There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 per cent behind the decision”. The Sun also mentioned that One Direction will not launch a tour to promote their forthcoming fifth album.
“It is not over, they just need a break”.
Some tickets for 1D’s Birmingham shows in October after being advertised for more than £1,200 – over ten times the face value – as sellers try to cash in on fears of a split. News was assured over the weekend that there are no problems within the group.
The source added, “They are great friends and fully support one another”. One Direction is expected to still work together until February so they can fulfill their record label commitments. This is an exciting time for them creatively and as a group.
The band’s PR team wouldn’t comment when asked about the news by Newsbeat on Sunday night.
Directioners have been on their toes waiting to hear from the boys of One Direction about their rumored “break”.
Malik has signed a new recording deal as a solo artist since quitting in March.
The break could be a good opportunity for Louis, whose expecting a baby with Briana Jungwirth in early 2016. However, he didn’t confirm any split among the band members.
Reports suggest that “One Direction” may be going separate ways in the spring.
