Using Informatica, AWS customers are able to automate and operationalize data integration and data management activities from pilot to production, ensuring that the activities are repeatable across diverse and constantly changing data sources and that they apply best practices that can be shared across an organizations’ big data projects. Both options are available for free evaluation.

AWS jumps into bed with Rackspace?

Among the partners that the retailer’s cloud computing subsidiary Amazon Web Services announced on the re:Invent event in Seattle Tuesday: major cloud computing firm Rackspace. Instead of wasting capital investment dollars trying to build out another IT management stack, Sargent said New Relic is providing that IT management stack as a service that can be extended in multiple directions. “Through our work and collaboration with organizations such as vArmour, Booz Allen delivers advanced security and IoT solutions to clients migrating to AWS and leads the industry with innovative cloud security and methods that protect our clients’ most valuable assets”.

The new integrations include a connector for Amazon Aurora as well as the launch of Tableau Server listings in AWS Marketplace. If such risks or uncertainties materialize or such assumptions prove incorrect, the results of Rackspace Hosting could differ materially from those expressed or implied by such forward-looking statements and assumptions. New Relic assumes no obligation and does not intend to update these forward-looking statements, except as required by law.
