Niall denies 1D split but confirms break next year

“Love you all xx”, Niall said. Well, that might not be exactly what we wanted to hear, but it sounds like One Direction has every intention of reuniting after their break. Louis Tomlinson, who’s in the middle of his baby daddy drama, also tweeted the following to help ease the minds of their obsessed fans.

According to People, the boys are going to be taking an “extended hiatus”, and there’s no word on just how long that break might last. “Promise”. The Sun’s source said the four remaining members will pursue solo careers before reconvening after a year or so.

There have not been any reports of bad blood in the group, and they seem to genuinely be searching for new opportunities.

Harvey also revealed that he had already offered Harry a role in his movie Tulip Fever but the singer had to turn it down due to One Direction commitments. The anonymous source gave a similar statement to the Hollywood Life. “They might take a year off and miss it. They might take a year off and say, “You know what?” They have been non stop and don’t want to breakdown.

The insider said the hiatus would have happened even if Malik, 22, had not left.

“They are great friends and fully support one another”, a source shared. We can only imagine that during the “break” period we will still see a lot of the lads as they get on with their own solo projects. They’re one of the hardest working groups around and totally deserve some time to themselves.

A 1D representative neither confirmed or denied the reports, telling The Guardian newspaper: “We don’t comment on speculation”.

The music video of Drag Me Down is the first music video without Zayn after he quit from the band. Just last month, Malik was signed onto RCA records.

One fan wrote: “If 1D announce they are splitting up I’m going to need the emergency suicide line #1D”.

“They believe there are at least three smash hit songs and they’ve got the boys to stay together for a few weeks beyond the end of the year to make the album a huge success”.
