A few 300,000 Palestinians live in Israeli-annexed east Jerusalem, where the Old City is located.
“Jewish settlers attacked villages near the West Bank cities of Ramallah, Jenin, Tulkarem, Nablus and Hebron”, one witness told Anadolu Agency.
Local sources said that Israeli policemen fired seven bullets at 19-year-old Fadi Alloun, an athlete from Issawiya district, and killed him immediately.

Tensions have flared over Jewish visits to the holy site which are permitted under a “status-quo agreement” in which Muslims administer the compound while Israel is responsible for security.
