Victoria Beckham Defends Marriage: We’re Happy, Healthy, Blessed

They were once thought to have one of the most solid relationships in showbiz, but Victoria and David Beckham have seen their 16-year marriage rocked recently by a string of reports that they are leading increasingly separate lives.

In an exclusive interview with Grazia United Kingdom, the former Spice Girls member-turned-fashion designer insisted she ignores the rumors as she and her husband don’t need to prove anything with regard to their relationship.

They’ve been married for 16 years which is an eternity in Hollywood (hell, these days, it’s an eternity in normal people marriage, too!) and have always been plagued by split rumors, namely that he’s cheating, but have seemed to withstand all of that.

“[I am] blessed to have a wonderful husband and attractive, healthy, happy children”, said the former crooner. “David & I’ve nothing to prove. We love each other, we look out for each other and are strong as both partners and parents”, added Victoria.

Just last week rumors started to swirl that because of the pair’s globe-trotting antics, which is the result of numerous business endeavors that they have across the world, the Beckham’s marriage was in trouble.

And as a result of their brilliant moral foundation, Victoria admits that she is incredibly grateful that all four of her children have grown up with a desire to help others.

Victoria said she respects David and told Grazia that she is constantly inspired and guided by her husband. “I think that has worked for us”.

“My husband constantly inspires me and guides me”, she declared.

Fans also became concerned when Victoria was spotted with a significantly faded tattoo on the nape of her neck. After spending the summer in Los Angeles with their children, it’s back to school and work for the family. We explain what privileged lives they lead.
