Jets import toilet paper to London

“My kids rave about that movie”. They’ve been planning for this weekend’s game against the Dolphins at Wembley Stadium since they found out about it 11 months ago.

London has moved a step closer to getting its own National Football League team, British prime minister George Osborne said on Friday, after meeting with NFL team owners, executives and players ahead of this year’s first game at Wembley Stadium. Going up against a blitz-happy defense that specializes in creating turnovers by penetrating into backfield could spell for a disastrous afternoon in London. The real prize, the touchdown for would be to get a team based here.

Whether or not the ball touched the turf or the receiver before it was caught will likely never be known for sure, which is what gave the play and this game its divine name.

The quick trip to London is a relatively new phenomenon.

It looked as though they had no chance against a Packers team that understood the factors, as Dallas fell behind 14-0 early on. Copies of the London Times and the liners from fish and chips baskets? – The New York Jets are not messing around when it comes to trying to make this trip to London as comfortable as humanly possible.

Still, the time differential is making a few confusion among New York Jets and Miami Dolphins fans that all of the sudden find themselves combing the Internet searching for TV schedule and the official game start time for this much action-packed game.

That didn’t seem too hard to center Nick Mangold.

“I definitely feel a lot more comfortable there”, Winters said of the transition. That said, James Brown, Boomer Esiason, Bill Cowher, Tony Gonzalez, Bart Scott and the rest of The NFL Today crew will be working overtime.

Defeat could mean curtains for Dolphins coach Joe Philbin after three years. After all, Bowles said, the players have enough money to come back in the off-season.

Woody Johnson, Owner of New York Jets, said: “We are very excited about the growth of the National Football League in the United Kingdom, and the support of Mr Osborne and his colleagues going forward is very valuable”. The Dolphins have not played to the talent level this team possesses, it is a talented roster that to this point has disappointed its fan base. The Jets will need to bring their A game for this match up.
