Republicans mull Clinton amid repeated Trump stumbles

Hillary Clinton has experienced a 6-point gain in her image since mid July, and now has a 44 percent favorable rating.

Ryan repeated some of his previous comments on Trump, telling host Jerry Bader that he was not inclined as a leader of the Republican party to question the choice of the voters who made Trump the GOP nominee.

While Whitman has actively spoken out against Trump, the embodiment of shredded detritus found somewhere in Hell’s answer to a black hole, for the better part of this year-she has previously only vocally backed members of her own party. The campaign said she raised more than $8.7 million in the 24 hours around her speech.

It was reported in June that Whitman hinted in a closed-door meeting that she’d support Clinton.

For all of the media talk about 2016 being an unconventional outsider election, Hillary Clinton is leading by being competent and qualified in the face of the endless barrage of questionable statements and behavior coming from Donald Trump.
